Distinguished Savage Mindset
There was a time. It seems too long ago, that men and women dressed in a way that mean't business. Rich or poor the one thing they had was the self respect, the self image of no matter the station in life they were at, they intended to do better. That they handled their business and took no shit! They made a statement without uttering a word.
They dressed their part in a way that let others know who they were and how they felt about themselves. It's been said that dressing well isn't a matter of vanity, Its a matter of self respect. This rings truer than ever today.
You can say all day how much you just want to be comfortable, you don't want to spend money on nice clothes, you don't have to impress anyone! Trust us, you're not! In fact just the opposite.
I see a man or woman walking around in some mismatched shit you pulled out of the clothes hamper and I know you don't care what people think about you because you tell the world you don't care about yourself.
Now you can argue that point all day but the simple fact remains that it's not about an Armani suit or a Prada dress. It's about putting on anything you choose and make that ensemble look like a million bucks. And it's not pajama bottoms, flip flops or worse Crocs, and a baggy t shirt.
Dressing well isn't about labels, or formal dress. It's about directing the movie of your life and starring in it and knowing that your wardrobe reflects a sense of style that is functional, appropriate to the moment at hand, and conveys that ephemeral of attitudes, self assurance.
Clothes tell a story. They speak volumes about the person wearing them without the slightest word spoken. Whether it's a t shirt and shorts, yoga pants and a top, or a well tailored suit or dress, it doesn't matter, if you choose style and fit over what ever was on the floor closest to you, you are already way ahead of most.
We believe that no matter what you wear as long as it fits well, is highly functional, suits your personal sense of style, and allows you full freedom of movement, then by all means wear it. But dress like you care about yourself. Dress like you're putting on a suit of armor. Dress so that you can lay hands on, or draw your side arm if thats what the day brings.
Because there is a vast difference between handling your business looking and acting like joe shit the rag man and handling it like a distinguished savage.
